This morning as I was having my quiet time I decided to read 1 Cor 13:4-7...
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
I know that it seems like a tired reading that we hear at every wedding we attend...and we can certainly rattle it off without thought at times, but today I saw it with new eyes. I saw it not only as a wife, but as a mother. I pray that God will continue to actively help me be patient and kind, not rude, or demanding my own way, not irritable, to be always hopeful, and enduring. I pray that God will help me to continue to become love, in my all areas of my life.
