2nd Trimester

Oh Happy 14 Weeks! I just wish this cold would go away so that I can bask in my feeling well...not sure if I am there yet, but I am sure claiming that!

Dr. appt next week and that gets us another week closer to finding out if it is a boy or a girl (we are all convinced of the latter). I guess only time will tell.

The baby is about the size of a lemon right now. Even as I type, this moment I am feeling what I am pretty certain is the baby moving. Justin doesn't think it is possible yet, but I know those bumps and thumps are not normal digestive movements!

Life around here has been pretty shaky lately. We have had a total of 4 earthquakes in the last week. Two of which I felt (one seemed to last FOREVER), and two that I slept through. Everyone is talking about the earthquicks (as Cori likes to call them.)

My New OSU Wreath

Super easy! Just the big "ribbon" from hobby lobby, painted the letters and hot glued them on.

Home Management Binder

If you missed my post about missing Meet the Teacher night click here to see my Epic Mom Fail!! As a result, I am striving to be more organized. I am working on it bit by bit...(don't look in my closets yet)

I discovered a Home management binder! Why didn't I think of this?? Whoever did must have WAAAAYYYY more time on their hands than I do...but I digress...So I created one for our family. It is a simple clear from binder that has tabs. I found through "pinterest" an amazing website by someone who has the gift of organization (I really think it must be a spiritual gift...one which God gave me the desire for, but not the natural talent in!) If you want to see where I got the idea click here. There are some great links to the printables that I used to help improve my organizational skills.

I pray this will help me to never miss a beat, and have everything at my fingertips when I need it.

Quiche the cook!

Our first attempt at making quiche. We didn't have milk or cheese, so I just used sour cream and hoped for the best. It was excellent.
